A Little Weird

reality bizarres the standard

Hey everyone!

Per request of SheepKing, I decided to make game based on influencing my Geiger Counter!

Check it out, and let me know if you have any problems or suggestions.

    Now this is cool.

    As for suggestions.

It might be interesting to make it so that we could get some data on who has been trying to affect the thing and when.

Btw, is this thing filling a database or is the graph there just for us to speculate with. =P.

It would be curious, yet costly to have a second but unmentioned geiger device taking measurements a few feet from the original one.

This thingy we have here now could be used for some serious studying if used correctly.

this is awesome! i’ll have to play around with that once i have a moment. (though i’ve no real experience with distance stuff, anything i need to know?)

also, it would be nice to see who else (if anyone) is currently on that page, possibly with a live chat.
no idea what it would take to do such things though, so if it can’t be done that’s fine.

btw, it would be interesting to hear feedback from you about whether or not you ever feel people trying to affect the counter.

    well, i’m annoyed >.>

i just checked it out again after meditating to into the theta state. when i loaded the page it quickly jumped from 20 up to 26. but once i started actually sending energy to it, it instantly dropped down to 17. it stayed at 17-16 for about ten checks. i then tried putting more energy into it, and it slowly dropped down to 8. XD

how did you guys get it working before?

  4. Gumby Says:

I got it to consistantly raise to about 20, but then I wanted to see if I could lower it, and on the next one it was 18. :-) Then I was gonna try to see if I could make it go back up but my internet connection went.

  5. Gumby Says:

P.S I probably couldve gotten it to keep going up but I wanted it to go down. There should be an edit button lol.

This geiger theory is interesting too…

Are we affecting the device directly, or is the psionic effect causing electromagnetic radiation that can be measured?

I feel this is the important one. If psi can be connected to electromagnetic radiation, many questions could be answered.

  7. SheepKing Says:

Yes once it is confirmed that we are able to affect the electromagnetic spectrum I can see the forum thread:

Psi; Does it cause cancer? hahah

Also; If you get some good results: I’d say over 30; Screen shot it and post on the forums! (reduce that image size/edit that sheeet. We don’t want to use up tons of bandwidth)

  8. Antisankari Says:

    @ SheepKing
    Talk about showstopper there, eh?

ALW news: “Psi causes cancer, please don’t do it.”

  9. Linked Says:

    i got it up to 21. :)
i was trying to send energy from my third eye and it went up. Then i tried sucking energy from around the counter into my third eye and it went down. :D i’d like to hear about other peoples methods of playing.

  10. cinderwild Says:

    23:06:40 (-75631 second lag)

Exactly how much lag -is- that?

  11. Sean Says:

cinderwild - is your PC clock set correctly? Correct timezone? The calculation is based on what’s called the Unix Timestamp, between my computer, and your computer.

Glad everyone else likes the game! I want to add a “How many people are playing right now” statistic. I’ll do that who-knows-when :-P.

  12. Sean Says:

Just had an idea to add a gabbly chat to it… the same chat program that was used on the PsiPog forums a while back. No extra coding on my part! Problem solved :-).

  13. delimew Says:

    *hugs sean*

Who knew that geiger counters could be so.. FRIKKEN AWESOME? Let’s do it again!

We got the counter up to 21, then later it dropped to 3. Shortly after that we hung it up at 19 for a while. Very neat little game we have, here. I’m still experimenting with different visualizations to do different things (shield colors/shapes, atmospheric conditions, miniature suns, electrical overload, and blue bombs!).

  15. Vince Says:

    totally awesome
I hope it never goes offline :)
